Tony Schiavone welcomes us to Nitro, live from the Jacksonville Coliseum,
saying no one would have thought Booker T would be the champion tonight.
There is a full house in Jacksonville, and the three announcers go over
Vince
Russo signing an impromptu match last night, Madden says the new WCW, really
became the New WCW last night.
Booker T’s music starts up, and out walks THE CHAMP, and steps into the
ring,
and raises the title above his head.
Booker T: (Fans chanting ‘Booker T’) “You know first of all, I come out
here I
don’t have a script, this is not a wrestling promo or anything like that,
I came out
here to speak from my heart for one time, the first thing I want to do,
is I only
have one regret, my mother is not here to see it, momma I miss you, and
I wish
you were here, NOW let’s get down to business. Eight years in WCW, Eight
years running, and I can tell you people this each and everyone of you,
if there
was no fans, there’d be no Booker T, you know each and every night, I come
out
here and give 100% percent, and you people have accepted me just for doing
that, like I say, if there was no you, in a sense, I am you, I just want
to say thanks
to each and everyone of my fans who have supported me for the last eight
years,
and a big shout to the fans in Daytona Beach who raised the roof last night...I
love you too baby! Next thing is this, playa haters in the back, you know
who you
are, and you know who you beat, I’m going to say it like this, don’t hate
the
player, hate the gate, one person, one person I want to talk about, and
that’s Bill
Goldberg (Fans boo) You know Bill Goldberg, you know he hurt us all when
he
took off for six months, I’m going to quote him line for line. ‘I got hurt,
I scratched
my arm, I went out, I stayed off for 6 months, and the people I fought,
you
cheered for those people every damn one of them’ from what I smell right
there,

in this
arena made you what you are today Goldberg! But last but not least, behind
every man, there is a good woman, so I want that security guard there to
bring
this lovely woman into the ring tonight (It’s Booker’s wife Levestia...Fans

Doug Dillenger bring Levestia into the ring.
Booker T: I want to introduce everyone in this arena to my wife, when I
leave and
go out on the road each and every week...I just want to say, I thank you
and I

Harlem Heat’s music starts up again, and Stevie Ray walks out.
Stevie: Hey, Cut that music off. What I want, is for you to listen. You
got time for
that champ? You know a lot of these people don’t know you the way I know
you,
hell I remember when you were born, I remember putting your ass in the
tricycle, I
remember sleeping in the same bed as you for fourteen years, I remember
you
taking my Z78 to take your first date out, I remember you getting into

business because I let you in, and I remember Scott Casey, telling you
one day,

with you, climbing the ladder with you, but not at all in my wildest dreams,

Scott Steiner’s sirens start up, and Midajah walks out.
Midajah: I don’t know who you think you are, or what you’re doing here
celebrating, let me tell you something, there’s only one real man here
in the
WCW and that’s my Big Poppa Pump, he’s the real and only champion here
in
WCW, and as for you Booker T, tonight here on Nitro, my Big Poppa Pump
is
going to make you his personal bitch!
Scott Steiner is in the ring, and wails on Stevie Ray and Booker T with
a
baseball
bat, he then corners Levestia and threatens to hit her, Steiner continues
to
beat
his bat over the back of Booker T.
--Commercial Break--
-Backstage- Booker T is talking to Stevie Ray, and tells her to take his
wife
and
get out of the arena.
-Backstage- Pamela Paulshock is talking to Jeff Jarrett, Jarrett says the
Cat
threw him a curve, and he had no time to prepare for Booker T, and he wants
his
rematch tonight, Pamela says that Jarrett is a little too late, and Booker
T
already
has a match. Scott Steiner runs onto the set, and attacks Jeff Jarrett,
throwing
him into the steel pipe portion of the interview set.
Shane Douglas: Hey Buff Bagwell, last night at BATB, you people all saw
what
it
means to get your ass franchised! Take a look at the fat chicks you brought
with
you tonight and feast your eyes on what the Franchise has tonight, I was
with
her
back in the days of the Revolution, but Torrie and I decided to hold it
off, to
a later
date.
Torrie: Sorry Buff, you just didn’t have it last night, and to my ex, Billy
Kidman,
you just didn’t have something that pleases me, what was it...Oh, Little
Billy,
you
just couldn’t please me like the Franchise.
Match 1: Shane Douglas vs. Crowbar
Douglas starts off whipping Crowbar into the ropes, the two exchange pinning
packages on the mat as Crowbar came off the rebound from the ropes.
Crowbar
does a body splash, over the top rope to the outer ring area, Crowbar stands
in
front of the Franchise as Crowbar comes after him with a chair, Douglas
and
Crowbar come back into the ring, and Douglas suplexes Crowbar three times,
with vertical suplexes, and then uses his leg to get out of a cover Crowbar
wiggled into. Crowbar and Douglas go into an Irish Whip, and when Crowbar
hits
the rope, he is tripped by Torrie Wilson, Crowbar back body drops the
Franchise
over the top rope, and then hits a drop-kick to send Douglas down outside
the
ring, Crowbar gets out and follows up, dropping Douglas over the steel
guardrail,
Torrie tries to get involved, but Daffney and Torrie get into a cat fight,
Crowbar
throws Douglas in the ring and hits a slingshot guillotine legdrop and
only gets
a
two count, Crowbar then hits a moonsault, but only gets two, Franchise
gets up
and hits a Russian leg sweep on Crowbar, but it’s only good for two, Douglas
grabs Crowbar and hits the Franchiser on Crowbar (Urinogy atomic drop).
Torrie
and Shane celebrate, but Buff Bagwell runs into the ring, and starts
exchanging
punches with the Franchise, Bagwell hits an inverted atomic drop on The
Franchise, and then dances in the ring.

-Backstage- Pamela Paulshock is with Kidman, and Kidman says skanks like
Torrie are a dime a dozen, and Franchise can have her, Jeff Jarrett comes
in
and
pushes Kidman away, Jarrett tells Cat he wants a title shot tonight, and
if
Steiner
can’t have it, he will.
-Out Back- Smooth gets out of the limo, and Tank Abbott gets out wearing
shorts
and a tuxedo, Tank gets a Gold Record from Smooth, and Three Count gets
out
of the limo, wearing Tuxedos.
-Commercial Break-
-Backstage- The Cat is talking on the phone, and Jeff Jarrett comes into
the
Cat’s
office, and tells him he wants a title, Cat tells Jarrett that he can have
Kidman
tonight, Jarrett is pissed off and leaves the office.
Tony tells us that tonight, Booker T will not defend against Scott Steiner,
but
he
will fight Mike Awesome.
Three Count and Tank Sinatra come down to the ring with their Gold Record,
there is a ladder in the ring.
Tank: “Come on! Didn’t I tell you guys that Three Count is the greatest
band in
rock and roll history!? DIDN’T I? Tonight were going to celebrate, yeah
big
daddy were going to have a party, their new single went gold, and all you,
were
going to hang this record up, so you guys can cherish it, ALL, NIGHT, LONG,
Everybody Three Count, ONE, TWO, THREE.”
Evan Karagis climbs up the ladder and hangs the record above the ring,
The
Young Dragons run in the ring, and knock Karagis off the ladder, through
the
ropes and to the floor. The Young dragons stomp on Three Count, and then
throw Shannon Moore into the ladder, Shane Helms is the next to meet the
ladder, the Dragons set the Ladder up, but Tank comes in and cleans house
of
the Dragons...However in the ring, is MUTA, THE GREAT MUTA SPITS THE
MIST IN TANKS EYES! The Fans chant Muta, and Kaz Hayashi climbs up and
steals the record. Muta and the Dragons leave the ring.
-Backstage- Pamela is with Positively Kanyon, Kanyon says he’s ticked off,
because before Booker T became the champion, he pinned Booker T in the
middle of the ring, Kanyon says he’s going to go find the Cat and make
him
FEEL, THE, BANG!!!
-Out Back- Goldberg is arriving at the arena.
Match 2: Jeff Jarrett vs. Billy Kidman
Jeff Jarrett is out and in the ring first with the Acoustic Equalizer,
Kidman follows
him out promptly. Kidman is in the ring, and has a little ring pyro of
his own now.
Jarrett gets in, and kicks Kidman in the gut, Jarrett whips Kidman into
theropes,
and Kidman ducks and hits Jarrett with a tilt o whirl backbreaker, Kidman
flips
over the top rope over Jarrett’s back into the ring, and goes off the ropes,
but
Jarrett hits a hip-toss on Kidman to send him to the floor, Jarrett follows
to the
outside ring area, and throws Kidman into the steel guardrail, and follows
up with
a body drop over the top of the steel for Kidman, Kidman hits his jaw and
lays on
the mat. Jarrett picks Kidman right back up and drops him on the steel
ring
steps. Jarrett throws Kidman into the center of the ring, and beats on
Kidman as
the fans tell Jarrett that he sucks, Kidman reaches down and pulls a standing
dropkick out on Jarrett , Kidman gets up on Jarrett’s shoulders, and rolls
Jarrett
up, but only gets two, Jarrett hits a cross body, but only gets a two count
on
Kidman. Kidman picks Jarrett up and hits a short powerbomb, but only gets
two.
Jarrett whips Kidman into the ropes, but Kidman hits a clothesline to send
Jarrett
out. Jarrett sits next to the ring, while Torrie Wilson makes her way down,
Kidman goes and tells Torrie to go back, Torrie wont move out of the way
of
Kidman, Franchise walks out and tries to hit Kidman, but Kidman ducks,
Torrie
kicks Kidman between the legs, and Franchise throws Kidman back in the
ring,
Jarrett walks over to Kidman and covers...ONLY TWO, Kidman kicks out, and
Jarrett picks Kidman up and tries a suplex, Kidman falls down and rolls
Jarrett up, but only gets a two count, Jarrett tries a powerbomb
on Kidman, but
can’t hit it,
Kidman reverses, Kidman only gets a two count, Kidman tries to hit a bulldog
on
Kidman, but he misses, Jarrett grabs Kidman and hits the stroke...And gets
the
pin...GREAT MATCH!

-Backstage- Scott Steiner is throwing Kanyon around, telling him he’ll
see him
later.
-Backstage- Mike Awesome is flirting with one of Nitro Girl Beef (One of
Jarrett’s
Fat Women), The Cat walks in, and offers the United States Title to Mike
Awesome, Awesome turns him down, and says that if he is going to be a
champion, he is going to earn it, the Cat looks very confused...INTEGRITY!
-Commercial Break-
Match 3: WCW World Heavyweight Title Match
Mike Awesome vs. Booker T.
Mark Madden refers to Awesome as “Mullet” and signs in the crowd read
“Mullet”...HA!
Booker T comes down, and slaps hands with the fans, he carries the title
well.
Awesome and Booker circle each other, The two lock up and Awesome
overpowers Booker T, the fans chant Booker T, and the two circle again,
Booker
and Awesome exchange headlocks and head holds, Awesome pushes Booker
back in the rope and Booker checks with the ref. Awesome knocks Booker
around with a variety of Punches, and then bounces off the ropes and takes
Booker to the mat with a shoulder block, Booker gets right back up and
hits a
Harlem side kick on Awesome. Awesome drops out of the ring, and walks
around, Booker stands awaiting Awesome. Booker T calls to the fans for
claps,
and Awesome steps back up, Booker and Awesome lock up, and Awesome hits
a
back elbow on Booker, Booker sends Awesome into the ropes, and ducks a
clothesline, Booker hits another sidekick on Awesome. Booker T takes Mike
Awesome up to the second rope for the ten punches of death, Booker tries
to
hit
the sidekick again, but Awesome ducks, Awesome knocks Booker T out with
a
running Lariat, Awesome covers Booker for a two count. Awesome drops to
the
outside, and hits a chair over the back of Booker T, as the ringside fans
chant
ECW. Awesome picks Booker T up and sends him into the steel guardrail,
Awesome goes back to Booker with the chair, and gets back in the ring,
Awesome hits a full body splash over the top rope on Booker, but only gets
a
two
count. Booker lays in the center of the ring, as Awesome taunts the fans.
Booker T tries to climb back up, but Awesome sends him right back down
to
the
mat, Awesome drops Booker to the mat with a semi back drop powerbomb,
Mike
Awesome comes off the top rope with a Frog Splash, Awesome goes outside,
and brings a table out and sets it up on the outside. Booker T is back
up, but is
sent back down with a clothesline from Awesome. Awesome attempted a
Running Awesome bomb on the table, but Booker dropped off Awesome’s back,
and punched Awesome into the ropes, and then burst with a flying forearm
on
Awesome, to send him through the table. Booker gets up as the referee counts
to nine, but Awesome is back in the ring, Booker knees the stomach of
Awesome
and then hits the ax-kick, Booker spins up and hits the Harlem Side Kick,
Booker
runs into the corner, and gets a boot from Awesome, Booker comes out and
hits
the sidewalk slam on Awesome, Booker goes to the top rope and hits a missile
drop-kick, Booker covers Awesome, only a two count, Booker T pulls Awesome
up and hits the Book End, cover, pin, win! GREAT MATCH!!

Scott Steiner Runs in after the match, and locks the Steiner Recliner on
Booker
T, Mike Awesome hits Steiner and sends him out of the ring, Awesome dares
Steiner to get back in the ring, Awesome and Booker T give each other a
stare,
acknowledging each other, and Awesome heads back up the ramp and Booker
acknowledges the fans.
-Backstage- The Cat is pissed off, saying Scott Steiner has interfered
in his
last
match.
-Commercial Break-
The Cat is in the ring, and is telling Scott Steiner that he’s sick and
tired of
him,
he says he’s the commissioner and Steiner needs to start respecting him.
The
Cat calls Steiner out, and needs to tell him something face to face.
The sirens start up and The Maniac and Midajah walk out.
Steiner: Listen here you sorry son of a bitch, last night you screwed me
out of
the
US title, now I’m giving you three seconds to give me a world title shot
or I’m
going to stick this microphone straight up your ass.
Cat: I called you out here for one reason you stupid bitch, and the reason
I
called
you out here, because I’m going to beat your ass myself.
The Cat attacks Steiner, and has offense for about one second, before
Steiner
dominates Cat, Booker T runs out, and attacks Steiner, but Positively Kanyon
funs out and attacks Booker T, but Jeff Jarrett runs in and attacks Steiner
and
Kanyon, Kanyon whips Booker into the ropes but Booker hits a sidekick off
the
rope, Cat gets in the ring and tells everyone to not give it away, Cat
says he’s
going to give them all a chance to get in the ring tonight and kill each
other.
The
Cat says, Jarrett, Steiner and Kanyon can all get in the ring, and whoever
wins
the match, will go on to New Blood Rising, and get the title shot...
Goldberg’s music hits, and Goldberg walks out...Booker T stares at him.
Goldberg: Hey Mr. Commissioner, How about a four way dance tonight, so
I
can
get a piece of his ass!?
Cat: I’ll tell you what, were going to make it a four way dance, now I
have
spoken!
Goldberg: THANK YOU!

-Backstage- Goldberg is getting focused.
-Earlier Today- Norman is putting Ralphus through an intense exercise
program.
Norman makes Ralphus lift some weights. Norman tells Ralphus to breath,
and
do some pushups...But Ralphus collapses.
Match 4: WCW Hardcore Title Match
Norman Smiley vs. Big Vito
Norman: Last night Ralphus and myself took it upon ourselves to answer
Big
Vito’s challenge, well tonight, after a vigorous day of training where
Ralphus
did
one pushup after 23 years, we’re ready...Now Vito we want to fight, bring
that
title
out and let’s do it!
Vito comes right out and hits Norman with the Kendo stick, Vito punches
Norman
up the entrance ramp and they battle near the Nitro Girl’s cages. Even
further
backstage, Vito breaks laptops over the body of Norman, Vito gets a big
plastic
tote and throws it at Norman, but Norman moves out of the way, Norman
throws
Vito into a steel garage door twice. Norman grabs a fire extinguisher and
sprays
Big Vito with it, Vito is disorientated, as Norman battles with him back
to the
ring,
Norman throws Vito into the set, and Vito hits his back on the set. Vito
throws
Norman into the crowds, while Norman is hiding in the corner of the ring
behind
the table in the ring. Vito throws Norman into the steel guard rail and
follows
up
with a Mafia kick. Vito spots Ralphus, and hits a crutch over the back
of
Ralphus,
Vito removes the table, and starts kicking and beating on Ralphus. Vito
sticks a
road cone in between the legs of Ralphus and then hits it up with a baseball
bat,
Vito sets the table up in the middle of the ring, and hits Ralphus in the
groin
with
the bat again. Vito sets Ralphus up on the table as Vito goes to the top
rope,
and
flies off the top with a frog splash, Vito covers Ralphus for Two, but
Norman
is in
the ring, and knocks Vito with a chair, Vito falls on top of Ralphus as
Norman
is
doing the big wiggle, Vito gets the win.

-Backstage- The Cat is walking, and the music starts up again, the Young
Dragons attack Cat again, but Cat throws them into hampers and walks off.
-Backstage- Paisley is trying to get The Artists shirt ironed, and I think
it
was...Christopher Daniels, that was dressed in pink and said he was The
Kiwi,
and told Paisley never to talk to him like that again...Ugh...Can you say
Saturday
Night Live rip off? FUNNY NONETHELESS!
-Commercial Break-
In the arena, Lenny Lane is standing, holding a big sign that says “Use Me”.
Match 5: Lance Storm vs. The Artist
Lance Storm: (fans chant USA) For those of you who came here tonight to
see
the side show antics of sports entertainment, are going to be a little
disappointed
with me, I do not dance, I do not sing, all I do, is wrestle. Being Canadian,
that’s
what I do the best, you can all rise, for the playing of the Canadian,
National
Anthem.”
We sit through the whole Canadian National Anthem, and then, The Artist
comes
out. Artist and Lance Storm get it off, Storm hits a jawbreaker on Artist,
Artist gets
covered for two by Lance Storm, Storm comes off the rope and ducks a lariat,
but
The Artist charges with a half leg kick. Artist covers for two, Lance Storm
flips
over Artist, and tries to roll him up, but Artist wont come down, Artist
covers
but
only gets two again, Artist and Storm exchange punches, Artist takes Storm
down
with a snap mare, and Paisley at the announce table seems very happy about
Kiwi. Artist goes to the middle rope, and tries to hit a jumping DDT, but
Lance
hits a suplex and follows up with a standing drop-kick, Lance hits a side
thrust
on
The Artist, and follows up with a powerbomb, Storm only gets two again,
Storm
goes for a catapult missile drop-kick off the top rope, but only gets two
again.
The Artist hits a Samoan drop on Storm, and tries to whip Storm into the
corner,
but Storm locks on the half-crab, and gets the win.

-Out Back- Vampiro pulls a hearse up to the arena, he reaches into the
back
and
checks on the coffin.

Match 6: WCW World Tag Team Title Match
Kronic vs. General Rection/Corporal Cajun
This is supposed to be Kronic vs. MIA, but The Filthy Animals, Rey and
Juvi
walk
out, they are followed by the Misfits, Chavo, Lash, Hugh, Hammer and Major
Guns...Chavo and Hammer hold back, and Lash and Hugh go to the ring. Kronic
is out last. The Animals are doing commentary, and the match gets off.
Rection and Adams start off, Adams pulls on the ropes, Rection and Adams
lock
up, and into a headlock, Rection stands right in the face of Adams, but
Adams
takes the General and puts him in a full nelson slam. Lash runs in to break
up
the cover. Lash and Rection hit a double DDT on Adams, taking him out.
Corporal Cajun is in now, and hits a swinging neckbreaker on Brian Adams,
but
only gets a two count. Rection is in now, and Adams and Rection take each
other out with double clotheslines. Rey and Juvi leave the announce position,
but
Jindrack and O’Hare come out and cut them off from getting in the ring.
Lash
comes off the top rope and hits a missile drop-kick on Brian Adams, O’Hare
and
Jindrack chase the animals through the crowd. Lash whips Hugh into Brian
Adams, and Adams is on the mat, Hugh says he’s going up for the flying
elbow
drop, but Brian Adams moves out of the way, Adams tags in Bryan Clark,
Clark
hits the Urinogy Suplex on Rection, and Clark then kicks Rection in the
corner,
but on the opposite side of the ring, Clark loses his advantage, Rection
goes up
top and hits the No Laughing Matter on Clark, but Adams is in the break
up the
pin. Rection tags in Cajun, and Cajun and Clark go at each other, Cajun
takes
punches ALA Road Dogg, but Clark doesn’t like that and knocks Cajun out.
Brian Adams is in and hits a gut buster on Cajun, but only gets a two count.
Kronic sets Lash up and hits the High Time on Lash, Rection runs in and
breaks
up the count though. Rection is sent out of the ring, Brian Adams sets
Lash up
for a powerbomb while Clark comes off the top rope with a clothesline,
they
botched up their new finisher, but they get the pin and win.
Winners: Kronic
Post Match: The Perfect Event runs in and takes out Kronic with their muscle
flexors, The General drops the Perfect Event out of the ring.
-Backstage- Vampiro is walking around, and he rubs his hand and head along
the
coffin.
-Commercial Break-
Vampiro makes his way down to the ring and cuts his music off.

The Demon gets out of the coffin, and Asya comes into the ring too, Vampiro
pushes Demon away when Asya tries to talk to Demon, Vampiro tells Demon
to
beat Asya down like a dog, and choke her. Demon goes to choke Asya, but
the
lights go out, and lighting flashes...”Seek and Destroy” starts again,
and the
Mystery Figure comes into the ring, and attacks Vampiro and Demon, A Stinger
Splash is hit on both Demon and Vampiro, the figure hits a Scorpion Death
Drop
on Vampiro, a light shines on the man, and he is wearing a mask and goggles,
only his nose showing through...The figure...Sting, walks up the ramp.
-Commercial Break-
Main Event: #1 Contenders Match
Jeff Jarrett vs. Goldberg vs. Scott Steiner vs. Positively Kanyon
Interesting Fact: This match is four heels fighting each other...
Jarrett is out first, followed by Steiner w/ Midajah and then Kanyon and
finally
Goldberg. The winner of this match goes on to fight Booker T at New Blood
Rising. This match is a four way dance, two men in the ring at once, have
to tag
someone in to fight.
The bell rings, and Steiner and Kanyon are in to start things off, Kanyon
and
Steiner act like they don’t know what to do, the fans are chanting Goldberg,
Steiner gets out of the ring and goes after a fan, but comes right back.
Steiner
attacks Kanyon, and hits him with vicious chops to the chest, Kanyon gets
whipped into the ropes and taken out with a massive lariat. Steiner drops
an
elbow on Kanyon, Steiner lifts Steiner up and hits a body drop on him.
Steiner
sends Kanyon out of the ring, and follows him out, Big Poppa Pump whips
Kanyon into the steel guardrail, they come back in, and Steiner picks Kanyon
up
and hits a spinning Belly to belly. Goldberg comes right in the ring when
Steiner
has the Steiner Recliner on Kanyon, Kanyon locks a move on Steiner, but
Goldberg is right back in to break up the hold, Kanyon picks Steiner up
over
his
back by the legs and hits a flipping powerbomb! Kanyon taunts Jarrett with
the
sign of the Kanyon Cutter, but Jarrett slaps his hands and comes in to
fight
Steiner. Steiner hits a tilt-o-whirl slam on Jarrett, Goldberg runs in
to break
up
the pin, and Kanyon tags himself back in, Jarrett is covering Kanyon, but
the
ref
isn’t looking, the ref sees the cover and counts to two, but Goldberg breaks
up
the pin, Kanyon hits a swinging neckbreaker on Jarrett, Goldberg tags
Jarrett,
Kanyon hits Jarrett with the Kanyon Cutter, Goldberg is in and spears Kanyon,
Goldberg picks Kanyon up and hits the Jackhammer, Steiner runs in and
breaks
up the pin, Goldberg and Steiner get in each others faces, and the two
go at
each
other, Goldberg and Steiner brawl over the top rope, and Jarrett covers
Kanyon,
and gets the pin and win.
